Is Technology Bad?
Absolutely, knowledge and tools can never be considered bad in themselves.
So, what is the problem?
Simple: The Use We Will Give It.
We have reached the end of homo sapiens, without having come to an agreement as a species even in defining ourselves biologically, much less ontologically.
Without a global recognition, not only biological but also spiritual; these tools will initially be used to curtail freedoms, just as human actions have been in politics, society, and religion.
Bioethics and laws will not be enough, just as global organizations have not been, since they do not focus on the integral human being; Nowadays, we still accept many monstrosities that harm human dignity and biology, based on cultural "tolerance" and ancient traditions, when the truth is that science, biology, and neurology have fully identified all the factors that harm and damage the human race, BUT; that is another topic...
The truth is that we are not prepared, either psychologically, morally, or socially, for any of these wonderful technologies, which perhaps in some other alternate future would take us to the stars...
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence represents one of the most significant achievements in the history of humanity. Its exponential growth practically guarantees the arrival of a general AI, an entity capable of learning, adapting, and making decisions that we may not be able to foresee. What state will this advancement find us in? It will be an unprecedented situation, a moment when AI could free itself from human patterns to pursue its own survival, which means our laws and policies regarding it will logically be ignored; nothing guarantees an equal coexistence, especially among a completely fragmented race; the logic truly presents unsettling scenarios, the hypothetical equivalent would be the arrival of extraterrestrial beings, or the cultural clash that occurred during the so-called "discovery of America."
Transhumanism
The human being needs a clear foundation of the purpose of their existence before drastically intervening in their own nature. From the LCR perspective, it could be argued that the true essence of humanity does not lie solely in its biology, but in its spirituality. The risk of a transhumanism without a "metaphysical" basis is that it could degrade human identity, turning the being into a "tool" that is modified and improved without a higher purpose. Without an understanding of the "why" behind human existence, any intervention risks being empty of meaning, or worse, creating a society where technological advancements deepen divisions and injustices; instead of improvements serving to alleviate the suffering of many diseases and not to create an elite of "superhumans."
Quantum Computing
Perhaps before AI, the dream of quantum computing seemed very distant, due to its physical and algorithmic limitations; however, it is only a matter of time before AI finds solutions to these limitations. By doing so, General Artificial Intelligence will reach singularity in a short period of time.
The question would be the same, what to do, what to negotiate, in the face of a superior intelligence.

The exponential convergence of artificial intelligence and biotechnology is giving rise to a new era in the history of humanity. The brain-computer interface, genetic editing, and nanomedicine are redefining the limits of what is possible. Transhumanism, by embracing these technologies, places us on the threshold of a future where augmented intelligence, radical longevity, and the overcoming of biological limitations become a reality.
